The Greater Essex Business Board (GEBB) has launched its manifesto for growth. It is now time to deliver real change.
To enable this, it is seeking influential businesspeople to join the board.
The board represents the voice of the private sector in shaping economic policy. Members advise political decision makers and help the Greater Essex economy to thrive.
The board is currently looking to fill two vacant positions. GEBB is seeking to appoint one new member from the Creative and Cultural sector. The other new member will be appointed from the wider business community, but the board would particularly welcome applications from those with experience in tech and AI, energy, financial services or in any other key growth sector within the Greater Essex economy.
Board members should have executive experience alongside a strong national and local network.
The board meets four times a year to shape essential economic policies. They work with partners including local authorities and other business forums.
Between meetings, board members act as ambassadors for Greater Essex. They promote the region through their networks and gather insights, feeding business intelligence back to the board.

Applications are now open for the two vacant board positions.
