Harlow is set to grow at a rate two times faster than Oxford, four times faster than Leeds and five times faster than Manchester over the next 20 years. Greater Essex are already a key location identified in Governments AI opportunities action plan, with 3-4 data centre sites planned in the area, one site being developed by NScale in Loughton and 2 sites purchased by Google. Greater Essex also has the University of Essex with nationally recognised expertise in this area.
