On May 20th-22nd, Greater Essex is set to take to the stage at UKREiiF, the UK’s Premier Real Estate, Infrastructure and Investment Forum, with a programme of panel discussions that will put the region firmly on the map as a growth hotspot.

Harlow is set to grow at a rate two times faster than Oxford, four times faster than Leeds and five times faster than Manchester over the next 20 years. Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) will support Harlow in achieving this. Both sectors share a common goal—delivering high-quality, sustainable development. This panel debate will explore how strategic PPPs can accelerate the planning and delivery process, overcome funding barriers, and unlock mutual benefits. AI Growth Zone Round Table Discussion

A private Round Table discussion on how Greater Essex can provide the infrastructure needed to support AI growth.

Greater Essex are already a key location identified in Governments AI opportunities action plan, with 3-4 data centre sites planned in the area, one site being developed by NScale in Loughton and 2 sites purchased by Google. Greater Essex also has the University of Essex with nationally recognised expertise in this area.

Greater Essex are looking to bring together public and private sector representatives for a discussion on what is needed to further support the sector to grow in the region, for the benefit of our whole business community. We will be joined by Jacobs and National Wealth Fund among others.

This is an invite-only lunchtime roundtable on Wednesday 21st May 1.00pm – 2.00pm at the Estuary View in the Green zone.
