AIR Solutions Group Ltd is an Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) specialist company based in North Essex, built on 28 years of aviation experience spanning military, policing, and commercial operations within Critical National Infrastructure. Our business is structured around three core areas:

Aerial Data Capture
We capture aerial data using UAS, then process, annotate, and securely host that data for our clients. This enables detailed interrogation of assets, supports dilapidation assessments, and provides a fully auditable data trail.

Consulting
We support Critical National Infrastructure operators and Blue Light organisations in getting the maximum value from aerial data—whether from their existing drone operations or by helping them build in-house UAS capability from the ground up.

Incident Management Software
We have partnered with DroneControl, a Swiss-developed software platform that transforms drones into powerful tools for incident management, asset inspection, and remote decision-making—allowing live data to be viewed and acted upon from anywhere in the world.

We are a small, highly motivated team that genuinely enjoys working with people to help them unlock the full potential of aerial capability and aerial data.

To give you a sense of our recent activity, here’s a snapshot of what we delivered in 2025:

  • Captured aerial data across 21 projects within the built environment, agriculture, transport, cladding, construction, housing, and rail sectors.
  • Consulted with three organisations, taking them from no UAS capability to fully operational drone programmes with a demonstrable return on investment. We continue to work closely with one of these organisations to deliver specialist data capture using higher-grade equipment.
  • Worked with 25 organisations to demonstrate, integrate, and deploy the DroneControl platform, enabling them to manage incidents, inspect assets, and stream live data globally.

 

Looking ahead to 2026, our goals include:

  • Working collaboratively with Anglia Ruskin University’s Engineering and Built Environment department on a Catapult-funded AI/UAS data project, subject to a successful bid. In parallel, we plan to deliver practical training at ARU focused on aerial data, and have offered to capture the entire ARU Chelmsford site to demonstrate remote inspection, reduced working at height, and significant time savings.
  • Offering work experience or commercial placements for university students in this growing sector, with guidance on suitable funding mechanisms for an SME.
  • Consulting with two new security-sector clients, both of which operate multiple sites, including locations in Essex.
  • Delivering training sessions with Kirstie (ECA) as part of the Building a Lasting Legacy Programme. Giving back to the community is important to us—our Director previously served as a Commissioned Officer in the Air Cadet organisation and has seen first-hand the impact that mentoring and guidance can have on young people.
  • Expanding the network of DroneControl users through increased engagement and live demonstrations that showcase the platform’s full capability.
  • Capturing even more data—we genuinely love being outdoors, and we love working with data.
