Thrifted is one of the largest sellers of vintage clothing in the UK. Focused on trend based secondhand clothing.
We focus on trend based secondhand clothing —everything from everyday staples to standout archive pieces—sold online, through marketplaces, live events and physical retail.
Our mission is simple: make buying second-hand more attractive or as appealing as buying new.
2025 has been a major build year for Thrifted. We’ve focused on scaling operations in the UK and we just launched in the US, investing heavily in stock, systems and logistics to support long-term growth. This included expanding our online ranges, growing marketplace sales and getting great traction on our live sale events.
Behind the scenes, we’ve strengthened our supply chain, upgraded our tech and inventory processes, and laid the foundations to operate at real volume—tens of thousands of items live at any one time replenished daily.
2026 is about optimisation and expansion.
Our focus is on improving stock turn, deepening our US presence, expanding physical retail and events, and continuing to professionalise the business as we scale. We’re also exploring new categories, partnerships and formats that allow us to reach more customers without compromising on price or quality.
Longer-term, we want Thrifted to be one of the most recognisable and trusted second-hand clothing brands globally.
Yes—Essex is an excellent place to build a business. It offers strong transport links into London, access to warehousing and industrial space at more realistic costs, and a deep talent pool of people who are entrepreneurial, practical and used to fast-paced environments.
The biggest challenge was scale. Vintage isn’t like traditional retail—you’re dealing with one-off items, complex logistics, and inconsistent supply. Building systems that could handle volume without losing control of margins, cash flow and quality took time, iteration and a lot of learning by doing.
