Who are Objective?

Objective is a tech partner focused on software development, data analytics and AI. We’re problem solvers. Helping businesses to strategise, create robust, scalable bespoke software, extract actionable data insights and develop AI solutions that address their challenges and unlock new growth opportunities.

Working with ambitious small businesses to established corporate organisations in construction, property, logistics, manufacturing, media and many other industries we take the time to understand pain points, frustrations and challenges as well as the needs and vision of a business before recommending a solution.

What have you been up to in 2025?

2025 has been an interesting year for Objective, with ‘agility’ and ‘timing’ being key attributes. Existing clients have approved major new projects and new customer engagement is on the up due to our flexible approach and ability to deliver quickly. Data is at the heart of what we do. Examples of our work this year include everything from Outlook plug ins, a lot of system integrations, through to AI Integration and development and Power BI Dashboards.

Speaking at events has definitely broadened our reach in 2025. Typically talking about how to leverage AI in your business at Essex Cricket Business Club, Essex University, Mantle Space & IOD Essex through to delivering our own lunch and learn events.
Not forgetting Objective… we have been working diligently behind the scenes to improve and refine our own service offerings; based off extremely useful customer experiences and through programmes such as Grow London Global.

What are your plans for 2026?

In 2026, our focus will be on deepening our commitment to AI use and driving meaningful innovation for our customers. Much more that Copilot and ChatGPT use, here we mean embedding AI into software development projects such as AI-powered search and data integration to deliver efficiency.

Plus, more of own events are planned. Particularly those that empower businesses to understand and adopt emerging technologies with confidence. Focusing on delivering practical, solution-oriented strategies that help businesses unlock value.

Do you think Essex is a place for business? If yes, why?

Absolutely. Essex is a great location to trade from, with easy access to London, the home counties and East Anglia, as well as the world via two Airports and Ports at each side of the county. For a company such as Objective, the infrastructure alongside the variety in business sizes provides a thriving business community. There is plenty of opportunity for collaboration and growth with large enterprises and many SMEs to work together with.

How important is it for Essex tech businesses to have a community where they can collaborate and share ideas?

It’s Essential. In a fast-moving sector like ours, a trusted community is beyond helpful for turning our good ideas into real outcomes. When businesses collaborate, we shorten learning curves, avoid duplicated effort, and solve challenges faster. A thriving community also widens access to both talent and customers, it helps to attract anchor institutions and scale-up partners, and gives SMEs a stronger collective voice on skills, infrastructure and investment. Just as roads move goods, a community moves ideas.

You were very fortunate to be able to travel to New York as part of the Growing Essex Global programme, how did you find that experience and would you recommend other businesses to apply?

The Growing Essex Global programme was great. Being shoulder-to-shoulder with other fantastic businesses from Essex and further afield has really forced discipline in our pitch, what we offer, how we offer it and, crucially, who it’s for. The New York trip was a very concentrated enforcement of this. Both the programme and the trip has opened doors to mentors and market experts, helping us to sharpen our proposition and routes to market.

I would strongly recommend other Essex businesses apply. The mix of structured events and peer challenge is rare to find.
