Who are Hellenic?

Hellenic Systems Ltd was formed in 1988 to provide leading edge solutions for the food and manufacturing industry. We are a UK based and owned manufacturer of specialist computer systems.

To date we currently serve more than 130 food companies in the UK and Europe.

What have you been up to in 2025?

2025 has been a significant year for the development of the company. We have welcomed the rise of artificial intelligence and have pushed ourselves to incorporate AI wherever it could add value to our processes, Hellenic is always looking to adapt and be at the top of the technology arms race.

Following on from this, Hellenic has been developing a roadmap, laying the foundations for the next 5 years for the future of the company. By doing this, we can focus on evolving the company.

What are your plans for 2026?

We are excited to announce we are expanding the company over 2026, with new positions opening within the team. This expansion will allow Hellenic to reach larger audiences whilst maintaining the high standard of work and support it is known for.

We are evolving some of our top technologies in the hopes for a public reveal in the future, which we are very excited for!

Do you think Essex is a good place for business? If so, why?

We believe that Essex is a great place for business, we were created here and have continued to work with customers also based in Essex for many years now. It is an ideal location to start a new business due to its closer proximity to London.

What’s the most exciting innovation you’ve introduced recently to help manufacturers stay competitive?

We believe our most exciting innovation ties to an earlier answer, we have developed an AI Label Designer that will serve customers by smoothing out the design process of label creation.

Hellenic have seen significant growth in the last 2 years, what would you put this growth down to?

Nurturing relationships with our customers has always been a top priority, we aim to deliver the best equipment and service, with the interests of our customers in mind. With this mindset, we have proven to our audiences that we are more than just a tech company but a valuable collaborator. As such, this has resulted in significant growth for the company with our loyal customer base growing exponentially.

Do you have plans to take advantage of the 100 in 100 Scheme to employ more younger people?

We are aware of the scheme and are happy to consider it.
